Sunnyside Road Residence

The Sunnyside Road Residence evolved from the emotional attachment that our Client had with the site and the existing project home that they had lived in as a family for 15 years.  Memories are important, and rather than demolish the structure, “design surgery” on this existing residence, although major and extreme, allowed the family to continue their lives in a residence of progressive architecture.

All of the aspects of the original stepped project home are used and expanded.  Spaces enlarged and interrelated, views extended and all of the site’s attributes capitalized upon.  A daring operation resulting in a truly exciting yet relaxing, beautiful residence.
