A highly successful commercial premises with a high level of adaptability to a diverse range of work environment needs. It has since been renamed by the Local Government Association as “Local Government House”, demonstrating its ongoing appeal to a range of occupants.

This west facing, fully glazed building achieved outstanding environmental performance from the outset and pioneered many energy efficient building systems in terms of their adoption in South Australia.

This project invigorated an area of the Adelaide CBD and led to a sustained and ongoing process of regeneration in its surrounds.
