The key focus is to provide learning areas more suited for the delivery of contemporary pedagogy, to improve learning outcomes for students.

The plans propose to establish a dedicated junior primary precinct, new performing arts centre, new health and wellbeing centre, and additional learning areas for anticipated enrolment growth. Other plans include demolishing ageing buildings including transportables.

Refurbishing existing facilities is also being proposed to incorporate greater flexibility in their use and ensure they are designed for teaching contemporary education.
